Lost in Translation?

After a little bit of outrage that a certain younger someone isn't currently winning Baller Bids (if you think this is bias, then you probably went blind on Sunday of Pres Day JUST SAYING), I realized that I haven't really thoroughly explained "Baller Bids" since its inception in 2008.

Baller Bids is exactly what it sounds like -- it rewards whoever makes the most balleringest bids on the weekend. Perhaps it goes to someone who bids the most, or makes the most filthy bids. But Baller Bids does not reward the most "baller" player -- I realize that just the presence of the word might throw people off, but that's not what this poll does. Baller Bids does not reward one good catch, or one good throw, or one sweet play -- Baller Bids rewards BIDS. Way back when in 2008, we were a team that was afraid to get horizontal, afraid to get down and dirty. There were very few bids, and we always got extra hype when someone did make a bid. Thus Baller Bids was created to reward people for bidding and to encourage people to do it more. It used to be easy to pick a winner because so few people would bid. But the culture of our team has changed now, and it's a lot harder to find a clear winner nowadays, which is why the poll exists.

I hope this clears some stuff up. Baller Bids will go up after every tournament, and you only have about a week to recall all your favorite weekend bids and vote for that balling bidder.

Got it?
Now vote accordingly.
